13 Ways to Grow a Blog Quickly in 2026

Starting a blog is one thing, but running it successfully that gets tons of traffic every month is something else.

On the internet, numerous blogs struggle to generate consistent traffic and are unsure of how to quickly grow their blog. Henceforth, in this article, I’ll give you some practical ways to grow your blog quickly in 2025.

10 Sure Shot Ways to Grow Your Traffic Quickly in 2025

Here I will share ways that work to grow your blog traffic in 2025. If I learn something new that’s trending in the coming years, I’ll continue to update this article with new strategies.

Let’s get started and dive right in.

1. Publish Long Form Articles

A recent study shows that publishing long-form articles on your blog can generate 56% more traffic.

Articles that are 1000 words or fewer tend to rank lower in SERPs compared to articles that are 3000 words or above. This study clearly indicates that Google prioritizes ranking in-depth articles.

Long-form articles coupled with practical implementation can be the single most important reason to grow traffic quickly in 2025. Notice the competition and see how long content they publish on their website, gather that data from multiple websites, and write better articles compared to your competition.

2. Comment On Other Blogs

When you’re just starting, having an audience who reads your blogs is almost impossible.

Commenting on blogs that receive a large number of visitors can be a great way to increase your blog’s traffic initially.

A couple of things to keep in mind when commenting on other blogs are that your comment should be in-depth and not a single-word response. Secondly, it should be practical with a clear CTA of your website URL.

You have to read the post, and comment something that aligns with the original article, so that other readers reading the comment would want to check your website. The primary goal is to demonstrate your expertise in your field.

3. Build An Email List

Building an email list can be your most significant source of future traffic. Having an email list is an asset. Most people share articles on social platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter to gain that initial traffic boost; however, promoting the article via an email list is often more effective than sharing it on social media platforms.

If you have a decent-sized email list, you don’t have to rely on Google updates or having a vast social media presence to get blog traffic. Even if some nasty Google update hits your website, you can still promote articles to your email list in the form of a newsletter.

Not only blog articles, if you’ve nurtured your audience correctly, you can also sell your products/ services, promote affiliate links, and even start a paid email newsletter.

4. Guest Blogging On Websites In Your Niche

Guest blogging won’t bring a flurry of visitors to your blog; however, it can get you highly targeted visitors who are interested in articles you’ve written. Moreover, guest blogging will also aid in your content strategy and the implementation of SEO on your website.

In the next section, we will explore how guest blogging is a crucial component in developing an effective SEO strategy to rapidly grow your traffic.

The key to guest blogging is to post articles on highly targeted websites within your niche. That, in turn, will attract new blog visitors and a handful of email subscribers.

5. Optimise Blog Posts For Organic SEO

If you notice, most blog posts that you publish and share with your email subscribers and social media die off in a day or two.

The only consistent way of driving traffic long term on your blog is to rank on Google search.

Ranking on Google organic search is the most challenging job out of all the ways I’m sharing here to grow your blog; however, it’s also one of the most rewarding for long-term growth.

Your initial goal should be targeting some of the easiest long-tail keywords in your niche. Ranking on long-tail keywords is easy, as it has way fewer user searches compared to, let’s say, a medium to short tail keyword.

Look at this example of long-tail keywords for the keyword “On-page SEO.”

Answer The Public is an ideal tool for discovering long-tail keyword ideas for blog topics. It usually shows you all the questions users are asking for that particular topic. For a more SEO driven keyword research tool, you can use Semrush (paid) and Google Keyword Planner (free).

For on-page SEO, your focus should be on user-centric, keyword-rich content optimized for long-tail keywords. Keep clean URLs, optimise website speed, and build internal links.

For off-page optimization, focus on building external backlinks through guest posting, commenting on other websites, and implementing schema markup.

6. Repurpose Blog Content For Different Platforms

Pumping out fresh content isn’t always the best strategy to grow your blog traffic. Instead of doing that, the real alpha is playing smart and looking for content that is already viral on your blog.

An article that has gotten the maximum number of shares on social media or received the most traffic is a perfect one to repurpose on other platforms.

Metrics to check before deciding on the content are as follows:

1. Ranks high on Google search results.

2. Brings in tons of referral traffic

3. Gets shares on Facebook and other social platforms

4. Gets high engagement, like a higher number of blog comments

If the article matches the above criteria, you should look to repurpose it on different platforms, like:

1. YouTube video

2. Infographics

3. Instagram stories

4. Podcast episodes

These newer channels will eventually drive traffic back to your blog. As a blogger, you shouldn’t limit your traffic to just your blog; always diversify it. Furthermore, repurposing isn’t as time-consuming as creating content in a new format, which has already proven to be effective and requires less research.

7. Start A YouTube Channel

YouTube is the second-largest website on the internet, after Google. Lacking a presence on YouTube can cost you a significant amount of free traffic.

Almost every business is on YouTube these days to drive traffic back to their blog, promote products or services, and increase visibility with the help of video content marketing.

Similar to blogging, YouTube is a long-term game where you need to consistently post videos before gaining traction. Initially, you won’t get any views, but keep going; they compound over time.

Just like blogging, for YouTube, focus on long-tail keywords that have little competition, giving you an edge to rank faster.

8. Write Twitter Threads

As mentioned above, leaving free traffic on these massive social platforms isn’t the best idea. One such platform is X (formerly Twitter).

The algorithm on X promotes in-depth content. Threads are a great way to get organic reach on X.

To write a thread, the first step is to research what users are searching for. Next, come up with a trending idea around that topic. Start writing tweets as if you’re writing an article, but in parts.

You can write 250 words in one tweet and click the “+” to write the next part. You can easily write a 10-15 part thread by repurposing the most viral content from your blog.

Pro Tip: At the end of every thread, don’t forget to have a call to action. It can redirect traffic to your blog or collect leads for your email list.

This is a brilliant way to grow blog traffic strategically in 2025.

9. Collaborate With Other Reputed Bloggers

According to one study, blog posts written by multiple authors are more preferred by 63% users who read them.

Collaborating is a simple yet highly effective way to grow your blog traffic. You connect with new faces, increasing your credibility. With that connection, you open doors to connect with their audience too. All of this allows you to showcase your expertise to their audience.

To begin with, start by commenting on other bloggers’ articles in your niche, sharing their content, and exchanging links to mutually benefit each other.

A simple example of this would be hosting a live Instagram or YouTube session where you can talk and connect with their audience. Share some free knowledge in your niche to showcase expertise. At the end of the live session, consider discussing your blog or inviting them to sign up for your email newsletter.

10. Build A Community Around Your Blog

Having a community is a great way to engage and increase the traffic of your blog. A Facebook group is a powerful way to build a community around your niche.

Another great way of building a community around your blog is by launching a forum section. A forum section where users can ask and interact about multiple topics, connect with others, and engage in discussions.

A Facebook group is an excellent way to share blog articles and instantly attract new traffic. It’s also an asset, just like your email list, where you can promote services and even rent it to generate some side income.

Any traffic source you build can generate additional income on the side, whether it’s a Facebook group, a YouTube channel, or writing threads on X.

11. Promote Blog Posts On Reddit & Quora

Reddit and Quora can be a goldmine for beginner bloggers, as they can massively grow your blog traffic initially if used correctly.

Users tend to ask questions here. Your job is to find such questions within your niche and provide organic answers to them. Write a custom answer and show your expertise, and while doing this, smartly place your article link at the end of your response.

Doing this, you aren’t spamming blog links. With this organic approach, you’ll also receive more upvotes, thereby increasing your reach.

Both of these platforms are the easiest way to grow blog traffic organically with minimal effort.

12. Get On A Podcast

Once you start making some money from your blog, the next level of scaling begins.

Getting on paid podcasts is a great way to get complete exposure to a brand new audience. The podcaster will host you on their platform for which you’ll pay them money.

In the podcast, they will ask you questions from your niche. You must answer these questions while demonstrating your expertise.

In the show notes, include a CTA that directs traffic to your blog. Alternatively, the most recommended approach is to offer a freebie, such as an e-book, in exchange for their email address.

13. Improve Blog Design & Structure

The last thing that needs work is your blog design. Now, this isn’t directly related to increasing blog traffic, but having a nice-looking blog certainly helps.

A clean-designed blog with high-quality graphics will always encourage users to spend more time and take your blog articles seriously. Couple this with the right internal linking structure, and you’ve got a perfect recipe to increase traffic.

Internal links will increase your blog page time, giving Google a signal to rank your articles higher in search results.

So although internal linking and blog design aren’t directly correlated with blog traffic increment, they are absolutely key.
