Why not. 🙂

By: Paramjot Singh Tue, 11 Oct 2016 12:10:12 +0000 Good question Shivansh,

Let me explain, Why I'm saying this;

Have you ever think, why Google Blogger automatically structured your URLs to small letters instead you're using capital letters in the titles, and same is on WordPress.

Google and other search engines can easily read Capital & Small letters in the URLs. And if you've two web pages using same words of links, first one is in small letters ( and other in capital ( this wiil be seen as two different URLs by search engines sinking the link juice between them; therefore your pages could rank lower due to this duplicate content issue.

Now comes to the operating systems – (The hugest harmful point.) When your website is running on Windows, then there is no issue either your Permalink has capital letters or small. But, do you know, Linux operating system is case sensitive? If you're using capital letters, then you're wrong. Google not only consider Windows and Mac users, but they also want to give good results to Linux users.
Small letters in permalinks always take your blog posts to the next level. So avoid using capitals.

Is it cleared now?

I'll be happy to read your next post, leave me a message, whenever you publish.
Thank You.

By the way, yeah, that's true that people want quality over quality. But, here we aren't talking about how to decrease your bounce rate or how to write so that, people read.

Here we're talking about how to rank on Google and to get ranked on Google, you must write long content.

Yes, exceptions are there. When a blog with high social shares, social followers and subscribers publishes post that doesn't contain more than 500+ words because the topic didn't need many words, then also Google ranks it. Because, in Google's eyes, that site can be trusted and they believe that that blog post must have good content.

But, when, a blog with not much followings, publishes a 500 words post, it will not get ranked for sure. Because, robots don't have an idea that the content is good or not.
